Cette diversit\u00e9 a conduit \u00e0 mettre en place des recherches comparatives visant \u00e0 la description de son cycle reproducteur, dans le cadre d&rsquo;un partenariat d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l&rsquo;IRD sur l&rsquo;ensemble de sa zone de distribution. L&rsquo;un des enjeux de ces recherches concerne le r\u00e9chauffement du climat et son impact \u00e9conomique pour les r\u00e9gions de production datti\u00e8re. Il s&rsquo;agit notamment de savoir si le palmier dattier pourrait \u00eatre un indicateur fiable de ces m\u00eames changements. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Dans une perspective \u00e0 plus long terme, le mod\u00e8le global r\u00e9sultant de l\u2019int\u00e9gration des donn\u00e9es pourra:<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">&#8211; d\u00e9boucher sur la d\u00e9finition de bio-indicateurs des changements environnementaux, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">&#8211; supporter la mise en place d&rsquo;outils de contr\u00f4le de la sant\u00e9 des agrosyst\u00e8mes oasiens en zones arides.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>PR\u00c9SENTATION DE L&rsquo;ETUDE<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\"><b>Construction d\u2019un mod\u00e8le global de la ph\u00e9nologie du palmier dattier. <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Il s\u2019agit de suivre sur plusieurs sites, r\u00e9partis le plus largement possible dans le monde, la r\u00e9ponse de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce aux d\u00e9terminants climatiques majeurs (temp\u00e9rature, pr\u00e9cipitations, humidit\u00e9 atmosph\u00e9rique, ensoleillement, photop\u00e9riode). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Le profil ph\u00e9nologique populationnel sera observ\u00e9 \u00e0 cet effet sur chaque site, \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un protocole standardis\u00e9. Il rendra compte des principaux param\u00e8tres du cycle reproducteur annuel (initiation, maxima et dur\u00e9e de chaque cycle de floraison, dur\u00e9e du d\u00e9veloppement du fruit et stade de maturit\u00e9 atteint). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Les populations choisies seront constitu\u00e9es sur une base g\u00e9n\u00e9tique large, incluant une vaste gamme de ph\u00e9notypes individuels (pr\u00e9coces, tardifs, polycycliques, androgynes). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">Dans ces conditions, les variations des profils ph\u00e9nologiques populationnels devraient refl\u00e9ter essentiellement les diff\u00e9rences climatiques entre les sites. Les \u00e9carts au profil ph\u00e9nologique th\u00e9orique attendu, sur la base du climat moyen du lieu, devraient relever de biais dans la structuration g\u00e9n\u00e9tique (comme une base g\u00e9n\u00e9tique locale restreinte, due \u00e0 des effets de s\u00e9lection humaine, par exemple une favorisation des g\u00e9notypes pr\u00e9coces). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">L\u2019objectif de cet aspect de la recherche est de d\u00e9terminer la part des facteurs endog\u00e8nes sur la variation de la ph\u00e9nologie. A c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la dur\u00e9e de la p\u00e9riode de floraison, la s\u00e9quence de d\u00e9veloppement des inflorescences constitue un second param\u00e8tre particuli\u00e8rement variable selon les individus.
