Avec les fibres du palmier, les Babyloniens font toutes sortes d&rsquo;ouvrages, natt\u00e9s ou tress\u00e9s; avec les noyaux de dattes leurs forgerons suppl\u00e9ent au manque de charbon; avec ces m\u00eames noyaux, qu&rsquo;on a laiss\u00e9s expr\u00e8s se mac\u00e9rer dans l&rsquo;eau, on nourrit les b\u0153ufs et les moutons que l&rsquo;on veut engraisser.
