\"LogAu sommaire de ce numéro, la production des palmes blanches telle qu'elle est pratiquée depuis le moyen-âge en Italie, en Ligurie, à Rome et en Sardaigne. A l’initiative du Centro Studi e Ricerca per le Palme (CSRP) de Sanremo, les palmes tressées ont été livrées à nouveau à Rome pour les cérémonies de la Semaine Sainte. Cette année, le Centro Studi est aussi devenu producteur de palmes blanches, en collaboration avec la Villa Garnier à Bordighera, dans le cadre du Projet Phoenix.<\/span> Un article de Maria Nevina DORE présente par ailleurs la riche tradition sarde de la palme tressée.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\tLa Sardaigne conserve une riche tradition de palmes tressées. Elle remonte au moins au XII° siècle, et plus probablement bien au-delà, comme l'atteste le maintien d'un artisanat de tressage à caractère profane usant de la feuille du palmier endémique Chamaerops humilis<\/em>. Les palmes tressées de la Semaine Sainte sarde sont fortement imprégnées de cette dimension artisanale, dont attestent les oratoires, les crucifix ou encore les crosses d'évêques, entre autres multiples objets réalisés à cette occasion. La principale originalité de la tradition sarde réside dans le sens qui est donné aux motifs tressés qui composent les grandes palmes. Ces significations s'organisent autour de thèmes empruntés à la Bible et aux évangiles, mais aussi aux croyances et aux superstitions liées au mauvais oeil ou à la protection contre les intempéries …\/…<\/strong>
