GENETIC RESOURCES OF DATE PALM 2013<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
This Tunisian Meeting <\/strong>will concern ‘Status, Characterization and Management Challenges of Date Palm Genetic Resources’<\/strong>. It will stand in Djerba (Tunisia), <\/strong>from April 15 to 17, 2013<\/strong>. Organized by the Arid Lands Institute of Gabes <\/strong>(Ministry of Agriculture Arid Lands-Institute Aridology and Oases Crops), it will comport 3 sessions. Session 1:<\/strong> State of date palm biodiversity across the countries of date palm cultivation. Session 2: <\/strong>Approaches of inventories, characterization of the genetic resources of the date palm (field methods, biotechnology tools). Session  3:<\/strong> Management  and development of date palm genetic resources. The working languages will be English and French.
